  1. They Know says:

Overall, courts use the test of the "best interests of the child" to determine such things. They do tend to suppose that spending time with both parents is beneficial, especially if both parents want it. The only time they would deny this would be if there were serious questions about the child's safety with one of them. The best thing to do is to be forthright with the other parent and try to work things out amicably.

  2. ashley says:

STOP – LOOK – LISTEN … always. There are always people who think they own the road

  3. guru says:

Atheists don't have a religion, so nobody is denying them the right to practice one. Basically, parents own their kids and they can make religious, educational and medical decisions for them. Jeez – some of the whack-jobs that let their kids die because they think "god" will save them are barely punished.

  4. Leo the Lion says:

i hope there are more than these few that feel this way.

  5. korry d says:

first of all you must try your best to keep the invention or material away from similar ones to avoid law suits and then you must patent your invention and copy rite it so no one can copy it and if some does then its your luckky day you can sue them for damages and stuff. the you can sell your rights and make money off that

  6. commonlaw says:

Ah……..youtube. MY link to everything truthful and factual in the world………………..

  7. answer my ? n keep it going lol says:

The Supreme Court rules on the constitutionality of laws passed by Congress and of the actions of the President. Thus they are the last court of appeal, and they protect our rights by deciding whether a law or action is in keeping with the Constitution.

    Chow!!

  8. Endgame says:

Actually in the US, it was the founding fathers that put those rights in place initially.

They've always been right there in the Constitution. It's the responsibility of every group to ensure that the politicians actually maintain their vowed commitment to upholding the Constitution.

Should the Jehovah's Witness get praise for simply doing their job as citizens?

I think instead, we should condemn the others (i.e. Evangelical Christians) who have attempted over and over again to erode those rights.

  9. hehe says:

The mainstream media hates President Bush. If there was absolute proof that he or his administration had anything to do with 9/11, it would be all over ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, BBC, MSNBC, NY Times, The Boston Globe, L.A. Times, etc, etc. You believe idiots like Charlie Sheen and Michael Moore.

    Merry Christmas.

  10. Paula M says:

    HUH?????

  11. autumn wolf says:

Almost all states have a form of the Castle Doctrine. The castle doctrine allows you to DEFEND YOURSELF WITHOUT THE NEED TO RETREAT when inside your home.

If you defend yourself with a dog or a gun…. who cares? DEFEND your gift of life.

  12. Information Police says:

anyone who thinks a gun is going to protect them in life doesn't understand. life…our safety has not one thing to do with gun…I worked in a hosipital emergency dept last year around this time of year & the first day of deer hunting season there were 8 or 9 people who died that day…I was shocked & when I thought it was a big story I found it was not at all reported. People who are not on a path of understanding why we attract to out life what we do tend to look outside rather to look within for answers…when we are afraid & see guns to protect us we just validate how afraid we are & bring more into our that mirrors our fear…look at 911..If we valued the life of the people who died how did losing 4000 more make it better..anyone who owns a gun is going to bring more things into their life associated with guns..You will never see one of them on TV saying how this fear has brought problems to them..they are provencial (they are wrong but stand by being wrong). Have you ever seen one gun owner on TV saying that if they didn't own a gun their loved one would still be alive. No they don't tell how a gun is weapon & brings more to fear rather than less.

  13. Mike Hunt says:

In theory you rely on the established court system yes. Violence will only serve as a pretext for them to justify more oppression

  14. Meeshia says:

    Ist – start writing songs
    2nd – get a good lawyer
3rd record those songs and sell them in the iTunes store.

  15. Ambi says:

Not directly. It's actually a question the courts would have to decide on a plant by plant basis. I do not think that the court would find, generally, that another plant is no more harmful than pot. While you may believe that a particular plant is no more harmful than pot science would more often than not disagree with you.

As it is, there is a case winding its way through the court system now about changes to Alaskan law made in 2006 that criminalizes possession of more than an ounce of pot in your own home. Times change, court rulings can be over turned.

I doubt something like shrooms would be protected. I think that something like khat would be protected.

Best bet is to find something that grows native in Alaska and learn to cultivate it.

  16. Why does everyone hate me? says:

Here is the Fifth Amendment taken from Wikipedia.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

    It's self explanatory.
